Same Veloċi. Five ways to get to know it. Switch whenever you like.
AI · the honest version · Australia
Everyone's been sold the same picture: one quick prompt and a finished site appears: hosted, with email, copy and photos. No builder, no designer, no agency. We use AI every day: to build and run the platform, not to build your site. Here's what it genuinely does, what it doesn't, and why Veloċi is deliberately not an AI wrapper.
The gap
No knowledge in, no knowledge out. No design experience in, none out. It will always produce something, and because something looks better than nothing, you'll assume it's good. That's the trap: it's built to keep you busy and feeling good, not to get you customers.
The five minutes were never the expensive part. The preparation, the judgement and the tweaking still land on you. If you keep asking the same tool and pasting what it says, you get the same answer as everyone else who asked.
Promise, reality, and what we do about it
| The promise | What actually happens | How Veloċi does it | |
|---|---|---|---|
| The site | One prompt and it's built. | A first draft that needs hours of tweaking, and you're the one tweaking. | The draft already knows what a plumber's or a café's site has to say. You adjust; you don't invent. |
| Hosting | Included. Somehow. | Still a monthly bill, somewhere, forever. | Optional, flat $99 a year: no renewal jump. |
| Appears with the site. | A separate product you still have to buy and set up. | A real mailbox at your domain from $72 a year, connected for you. | |
| Copy | Written for your customers. | Written about you, and far too much of it. | Written for the person deciding whether to ring you. One line on why you do this is plenty. |
| Photos | Perfect, instantly. | Generic, or a licence nobody checked. | A curated library for your industry, cleared for use. |
| Design | Trustworthy. | Looks "better than zero", so you assume it's good. | Layouts and sections designed in advance for each business type. Nothing is generated on the spot. |
| Customers | They arrive. | Nobody said how. | Your social pages connected today; ads and integrations are next. Honestly, not finished yet. |
AI is a tool here, not a staff member.
The part the prompt skips
Modern AI writes good HTML, and better copy about your business than any shared template can, because it's about you. Take that as given. What it can't do from a chat window is any of this, and every one of these is in the builder, in one checkout.
Then DNS records pointing it at a host, and the transfer code kept where you can get it.
HostPlus uptime watched, backups on the larger hosting tiers, and someone who notices when it goes down.
MailMX, SPF and DKIM records set up correctly, or your quotes land in junk.
ProofPhotos you're licensed to use. An "Open now" badge that follows your real week. A map that loads.
FoundChecked on every phone size, with analytics wired to the buttons that matter.
LaterAnd an editor that reopens your exact site to change a price, without the evening of prompting again.

Questions about your business, typed or spoken, that draft your About.

Prewritten copy for your trade, made warmer, shorter, more premium or more local. Nothing sent to an AI service.

Google, Trustpilot, Facebook, Yelp or Tripadvisor, so visitors can check them.
Every tool in the builder, as it looks today.
Use AI for the words about you. Use Veloċi for everything after the file.
What the minutes really cost
Each answer takes five minutes and feels like magic. But you'll ask again, and again. Then fix what it got wrong, find the photos, fight the layout, set up the domain and the email. Put $25–$50 an hour on your own time and it stops looking free.
Compare $149 with $19 plus your evenings.
The fine print, in plain English
AI can process an enormous amount of information and hand you an output in five minutes. That's real, and we lean on it hard: to research what 150 kinds of customer actually ask, to test the platform on every screen, to review our own code, to run our workflows and productivity stack. It's a big part of why a small Sydney team could build Veloċi in six months.
It is not how your site gets made. Your site opens already built because the work was finished before you arrived.
You're not a marketing company or a web designer, and that's fine: you're a business. But it means there's a good chance the design won't be trusted and the copy won't convert. AI copy runs hot: over the top, intriguing, and somehow about you. It tends to tell your whole story when the customer wanted one sentence of it.
The two-second test
Before a word is read, the page has already answered "is this legitimate?". That's design, and it's the part AI guesses at.
ClarityThey want the pros, quickly. Not the journey from childhood to today. One line on why you chose this work is plenty; the rest of the page is about them.
ProofContent that's plausible because it's true: the opposite of copy that sounds intriguing and sells nothing.
Next stepA call to action has to be written like one, and it has to lead to the next step: a call, a booking, a quote. Otherwise it's decoration.
Customers don't want your autobiography.
Who this is for
A brand-new business, a music teacher, a tutor, a tradie who needs customers to kick along: you don't need an agency yet, and we won't upsell you one. You need a site that's live today, your social pages connected, maybe a couple of ads for a week or two, and enough customers to be on your way.
That's what Veloċi is for: in minutes, from $149, paid once. Ads and social integrations aren't finished yet; they're next on the list, and we'd rather say so than pretend.
When the business is established and the website has to carry real weight, that's custom work: our Custom Design packages, or Adam's Media Services for the full agency engagement. We'll tell you when you're there. Most launching customers aren't, and that's fine.
Not an AI wrapper
Plenty of "AI website builders" are a thin screen over someone else's model: you type, it improvises, you hope. Veloċi isn't one. The sites are hard-built; the AI is in the workshop, not on the showroom floor.
Where AI is, and isn't
AI gives you what you give it, so we gave it twenty years of building businesses and the websites that feed them, not one silo. A web designer does web design, a marketer does marketing, a copywriter writes, a photographer shoots. Running businesses teaches you the rest: staffing, systems, the problems customers actually ring about, and what a site has to do to get the phone ringing. That experience decides what we ask it, and we check everything it gives back.
Then six months of eight-hour days, six and a half days a week, building and refining what a plumber's, a café's or a physio's site has to say before a stranger trusts it. AI made that work faster. It doesn't build your site when you click build: what opens was prepared before you arrived.
Pick your trade and see the whole site: copy, photos and structure, all prepared before you arrive. Then pay once, only if it's right.
No payment or account to begin. You pay only when you download or publish.
Partner programme
Every business finds Veloċi somewhere: an ad, a search, a friend. We'd rather pay the friend. The fees are our advertising budget, paid to the person who brought the customer instead of to Meta, Google or Bing: $30 to $150 a package, plus hosting and mailbox fees every year they stay. The customer pays the same price either way, every partner must say so wherever their link appears, and we never pay for a review.
